In 2019, at the age of 38, I gave birth to my eighth baby—a beautiful boy.

At four years old, he is now one of the brightest, happiest kids in town, yet his birth was one of the most excruciating, dark, intense, and, frankly, scary experiences of my life.

I wailed and screamed for over ten hours, and when he finally emerged from my body, he was limp, grey, and unmoving.

I thought he was dead.

His arrival was such a journey through the underworld, that I was sure that I wouldn’t have another child.

When I discovered just a year later that I was indeed pregnant again, I was struck by…sheer terror. That fear manifested in panic attacks throughout the first two seasons of my pregnancy.

Nonetheless, I was determined to continue with my wild pregnancy (without any interaction with the industrial medical system), and my commitment to freebirthing our new baby.

So I resolved to dedicate myself to a healing journey... and the result was that I was offered the keys to unlocking the power of choosing exactly the birth of my true desire.

This led to the totally pain-free, orgasmic, blissful birth of our ninth child, and along with it, the revelation that birth-in-bliss is available to every woman on the planet, should she so choose.

(This realization was the catalyst for my bestselling book, PORTAL: The Art of Choosing Orgasmic, Pain-Free, Blissful Birth, and the accompanying online course, which has helped hundreds of women choose their own blissful birth experience.)

I also saw, in retrospect, that I had sabotaged my previous births in a number of ways—ways in which, in particular, were very evident in the documentary film I made of our eighth baby’s harrowing, frightening emergence.

I have been asked so many times now, to share the footage of my orgasmic, euphoric birth and although I am immensely private, I truly believe that the perspective offered by the contrast of these two (very different) depictions of freebirth is important to share with the world.
